Then why can't you ask the question in the politics thread if it's simple one with a yes or no answer? Probably because it's never a case of a simple yes or no with politics and it's just asking for pages and pages of yet more ****e.
which politics thread, there's 2 depending on your persuasion and both are filled with page after page of bollocks, they're akin to extensions of global chat.
Brexit is turning into a disaster, says Vote Leave chief http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...n-union-theresa-may-david-davis-a8002426.html
It will happen in the technical sense but it will be fudged to effectively keep us in the EU in all but name. Basically, years of uncertainty for nothing much to change other than the UK becoming weaker and less influential.
I did agree with Stan only now, I think it'll end up being more clear cut than that. As I think May's Govt will crumble when they try and push through a 'no deal' Brexit, and there'll be another election with Brexit being the prime issue, Labour will end up offering the public a final say on the deal on the table - which will see it skipped.
I like this from Laura Kuenssberg. May and her cronies love a soundbite. Accelerate Brexit! -- Accelerate, accelerate, accelerate, accelerate. OK, in theory, if I am driving a car at four miles per hour and I speed up to eight miles per hour, technically I am accelerating. I may still be basically crawling along. I still may be late - very, very late - for my eventual destination. But, by the very action of pressing the pedal and going faster, I am actually speeding up. If anyone accuses me of going nowhere, or slowing down - well, look at my speedometer. I am going faster and I have evidence that you are wrong! That is why, in the next few days, don't be surprised if every Tory politician you see, hear, or read about is using that word (at least those loyal to the government) to claim that there is progress in the Brexit talks, just days after the chief negotiator on the EU side declared a deadlock.
Those threads are ****ing monstrosities. Most of the contributers - and I include myself in this - are obviously sick individuals. I recommend you avoid all contact, because once you've had a look you may find you keep getting drawn back in. After all, who can avoid rubbernecking a car crash on a busy motorway?
he is, did no one tell you? Everyone in government either screwed it up or bottled it, so they offered the job to TLL. Looks like he's out now, so I guess that's us ****ed then.
