A very good striker in his day…

His day is now pretty much done

I knew Ipswich signed him but I was surprised to see that he still only 27. Feels like he has been around much longer. At 27 he still has a few years left in him

Wasn't he and one other a makeweight in a deal taking a player to Bournemouth?

Ipswich will soon be known as Bristol City B team if they take many more of our players/ex players

PITMAN T 27 could? like a lot of strikers become their most deadly in their latter years..... I think JET could easily be the biggest jam on our faces!

Pitman is a solid player, and he'll probably be good for Ipswich. McInnes was ****ing stupid for getting rid of him.

I heard from a mate who comes from Bournemouth and new him personally in his younger days when he was just getting started in his first stint at Bournemouth FC that the guy is a complete 'Billy Big Bollocks' - 'Don't you know who I AM?' cock, of the highest order, in love with himself, seeing himself as the 'Alpha Male' at every party or pub encounter.
This could be jealousy on my mate's part of course, but sadly, I suspect that type of personality is common to most players - especially strikers these days - even in the lower leagues.
If true, maybe Delboy simply couldn't work with an ego of that size, when struggling at the bottom of the league. I certainly couldn't - the only 'fights' that I ever had in football were with the BBB type in my own side who, when the chips were down and everyone was needed to pull together as a team, would remind everyone how **** they all are and how let down he feels.
I say very carefully 'if true', because it's second hand news.

For us Pitman was often a lazy, slovenly, and indifferent player.
He's done reasonably well since leaving us for Bournemouth, but I didn't rate him for us, although his chances were limited in fairness.
