Well he's gone, The first player off the wage bill. Do we replace him? http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130103-pitmanbournemouth-575951.aspx
nope - we have baldock, stead, davies, taylor so unless any of them go we need to focus on getting a captain, and a quality centre back, and quality midfielder. I'd rather see 2 quality players who are first team regulars than 4-5 players or alternate as bench warmers. unless ofcourse Walcott, Van Persie, Suarez come available on the cheap!
Natural striker, good fox in the box but imo very lazy and have a bad attitude. Will always hover between champ/league 1
Agreed that the boy had natural talent but he did always look lazy and a tad too slovenly for my liking... Wonder how much we got for him?
Shame a natural goal scorer, never really given a chance here,i really hope he can do the business with the cherries, the scarey thing is he could come back up,as we go down.
The rumour is that we still owed them money, so it's the debt wiped and 60k in our bank, as I said that's the gist of things I can gather from various sites.
rod right. we paid 750,000 for him and we hadn't finished paying the whole fee, so Bournemouth got him for 60k
Just another one of the questionable deals for which we are well known. Never thought he lived up to his billing and it's good he has moved on hopefully to be joined by several other wastes of money. How nice it would be if during this transfer window we actually bring in some players that meet their expectations - we can dream I suppose P.S. Del. A midfield general remember?
according to Wikipedia he played 75 times.. that's enough games to judge someone.. but I certainly wouldn't call him dross
He was never going to get a chance under McInnes, and I fear that this move will come back to bite us in the ass. We've got a history of not giving young players the time they deserve and I can see Pitman going places in a few years.
He's a goalscorer and will always score well. His ratio for games started with us was good however it appears he is the type not to put the shift in that most managers require. If the rest of the team is prepared to carry him in that sense, he will most certainly score you goals... Who said I think everything is alright, where did I ever say that...??!! ! What I believe is that we have more than enough about us to get out of this, especially with the right couple of signings....
