Would you believe Pitman has scored 12 goals since his return to Bournmouth, makes you think.... please log in to view this image http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/10307169._/
he will score in the lower divisions so maybe we should of kept him! Brett is not popular with the Bournemouth fans, they think he's cocky/lazy/too good for them type of player. Personally I think its funny he has such a gaylord name! please log in to view this image
I still maintain that we were stupid to let Pitman go. People forget that he is still a young player and that he is still improving. Not only did he score a number of goals for us, but he's shown once again that he's got a great eye for goal. I also don't buy that he had a poor attitude. Most forwards do, and aside from McInnes having a problem with him I don't think he was a problem at all. Losing him was one of the first nails in our League 1 bound coffin.
He is a very very good goalscorer. Some of his finishing is exceptional. Easily good enough for this level, just our midfield couldn't create anything of note and he isn't the workhorse Del wanted.
12 goals since leaving us speaks for itself. I don't buy this 'but it's only League 1' stuff - we are only 1 place above league 1 and to be honest I don't think the current squad would romp that league - although some of them - and some of our fans too - might complacently think so.
I like taylor but he doesn't bring enough to the team. He is basically stead but even worse at scoring.
Never really understood it when people think scoring pens makes a goal tally less impressive.. Still got to score them! Maynard for example was woeful at them.
