<party> Any chance, however slim, of not having the deadly duo is reason to party.

Brent has already asked to be given time - something we don't have in abundance.

I've just posted this somewhere else but it was always my understanding that Brent has said "the money is in place". Why then would he need to be given time now? Lets just hope we are not jumping out of one bed having been screwed so to speak and jumping into another to be screwed again.

From what Brent has said in the past, the money is in place its just collating it in one place to complete the deal .... has that confused anyone else cos it sure confused me and I know what I mean lol

Time I am guessing to fully survey the extent of the problem, assemble business plan, pull management team together, organize the legal side, secure FL golden ticket and drop kick Risdales mooching arse over the Barn Park End :1980_boogie_down:

I have read the comments on PASOTI and as far as I'm concerned Heaney has gone nowhere just yet. I have not read any formal statement saying that just speculation that it has happened. I'm feeling that the "colate it in one place" sounds a little like I'll have the funds next week which is what we heard from Heaney for months. He was quoted as saying the funds were in place. Now maybe he was misquoted but it has led everyone to believe it was just a matter of giving him the go and it would be done in a flash. That is a couple of weeks which passes as a flash in football. I am just hoping if he is accepted following Heaney's departure that he doesn't turn out to be the same old same old for us.

Yes he does seem that but excuse anyone for being a tad suspicious given the history of all of this. I just hope now that everyone appears to be getting their way, well the majority anyway, that he turns out to be the knight we have been waiting for or there will be standing room only on the bridge.

I cannot see any new bid taking under a month to pull everything together in all honesty. It really depends on how up to speed Brent is and that comes down to what the administrators have shared with him which on the past form of that clown doesn´t bode well. That ginger tosser has had far too many chances it is time to say enough is enough, theres the door and I hope it smacks him in the preverbial on his way out.

Totally agree mexijan as far as time and chances are concerned but it still doesn't mean he has disappeared quite yet. I would consider 4 weeks to be reasonable and not dragging ones feet so that time scale would not worry anyone. It is only if deadlines were to be extended again that people would start to be less than enthusiastic. Everyone seems to be putting all of their faith in Brent without him ever having actually been directly involved with anything. Just because he has talked with the Trust and been "open" with them doesn't quite make him Sir Gallahad just yet for me. Been let down too often in this process to take anything or anyone without being a little sceptical.

I would think you all keep up to date on what at present is happening on...............Chris Webb's pasoti thread entitled........."Where we are 9/9/11".........a really good informative from the horses mouth account of where we stand now.

I have read plenty of posts from Chris Webb that are simply anti Heaney rather than dispassionate accounts. The only one he doesn't make personal remarks on and only does quotes is that very thread. It is not from the horses mouth it is merely quotes from headlines elsewhere collated together.

So when he says he has spoken to James Brent today (fri) he isn't telling the truth..............and has he got to be the only one who isn't anti-Heaney.
