The future's bright, the future's Darko? This weekend see's new head coach Darko Milanic take the reigns away at Brentford. He'll have Redfearn in the dugout advising as well, after he managed an impressive record as caretaker in the post-Hock era.

Another good performance last weekend saw Leeds run out 3-0 winners against Huddersfield, extending their unbeaten run to 4 games, with a chance of making it 3 wins in a row this weekend. Brentford didn't have the same joy, with a 4-0 loss to Middlesbrough compounding the misery of a 3-0 loss the week before. After a bright start Brentford have slipped slightly, and will be looking to get back on track at home to Leeds.

While there have been several previous league meetings between these two, except two meetings in the 2009/2010 season you have to go back to the 53/54 Division 2 season to see the previous fixture. That leaves us with little to draw on results wise, historically, though there has only been 3 0-0 draws in the history of the fixture.

Gaetano Berardi (Suspended)

Darko Milanic isn't expected to make changes to the winning side from the last game, with the exception of Byram in at RB to replace the suspended Berardi. Sharp will likely start on the bench once again.

Key Stats

• There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Brentford's last 3 games in Championship.
• Brentford have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 3 matches in Championship.
• Leeds are finding form with three wins and a draw from their last four games.
• This league is unforgiving, but the Bees have been good at home so far.

Confidence should be high going into this one, we're on a good run of form and are scoring goals at will at the moment. Darko will have had his say on a few things, but if he knows what is good for him he won't have changed much heading into this one. Sharp is likely wandering when he will get his chance, and he needs to make sure he takes it when he does.

Byram in at RB for me, otherwise very much the same as we lined up against Huddersfield. Austin seemed a new man under Redders so hopefully that will continue as well. The likes of Murphy / Wooton have a lot to do to get back into this squad.

Usual average thread mate <laugh> I'm still waiting for Pearce to be found out and lose the armband, as Cooper should be a starter for me every time. It was silly giving Pearce the skippers job because nobody, including the manager/coach was guaranteed a job, so it should have been a temp thing.

Wonder when we'll see what really is our best 11, because there are top players (apparently) who haven't been given a game yet. I also think we can already see some quality players who are straight onto the sheet. Billy Sharp needs some service so hopefully when he gets his chance again, we supply him with chances, and if we do he'll rack them up.

Morison, Hunt, Tonge, White et al need sorting still. Come on Darko get rid

Good thread Durham,

Would like to see Adryan and Montenegro start this game but wouldn't know who they'd replace

I think we'll get a win but only by a 1 to 2 goal margin

You want to see Adryan and Montenegro start why? You have never seen them play. If they were that good Redders would have played them before now. I think he knows best and will play the team that is doing the business now only Byram in for Berardi.

I'd be interested to see what Adryan has to offer, but agree with Boggers give him 20/30 minutes if all is going well, don't disrupt a team that is working

We are going to batter them, nine points from the next three games.
We are Leeds United and we are going up.

Rubbish thread again ... beware the wounded minnows, I can see Brentford winning this by the odd goal with Austin and Pearce sucking brass knobs ... Adryan and Montenegro were waiting for clearances to come through, the team started to win so Redders stayed with a settled lineup ... wait until these lads get game time, we may be surprised

Bloody quiet on here Billy. I agree, I don't think this is an easy game and I certainly don't think we'll win 3.1(hope I'm wrong)

My view why change a winning team playing the best I have seen for many a long time
I still think Cooper will replace Pearce and Belluscoli will be captain
Adryan bring him on if we are winning by 2 clear goals
Fulham to continue losing and I think its possible to get into the top 6 I know I was laughed at when I suggested it before the season started but I think they can do it on present form wait and see as a former prime minister from Morley said in Parliament
in 1912 yes I was around then as well

Antonucci was a cult hero and was captain. The players walked through walls for him, and because a striker cannot be guaranteed a game every week (Unless scoring) he was given roles out wide and in the hole and thats why his scoring record isn't exceptional. So let him have the armband and watch him lift the lads. We know he can score goals already and he other attributes in his armory <ok>

Those kind people at coral and bet fair have given me a £50 free bet today, and eight free bets of £25 to the Mrs all those accounts she open a couple of weeks ago.

We better not lose today because we have £150 on us to win at 13/8 and £100 at 6/5 to draw. Not going to be here to watch off to Ripon to watch how the bets we placed on nags to get those free bets get on.
