so this saturday shrews travel to brentford who are flying high in 3rd place. in their last 6 games they have taken 16 points but unbeaten shrews take it all in their stride. results --------- preston 1 b's 1 swindle 0 b's 1 b 's 2 sheff utd 0 b's 3 mkd 2 county 1 b's 2 colchester 1 b's 3 league ------- p23 w12 d8 L3 f36 a23 gd 13 points 44 3rd home form ---------------- w8 d2 L1 f21 a 11 gulp scorers -------- donaldson striker 15 forrester striker 8 douglas m/f 4 now will shrews continue their unbeaten run? it is a brave soul who says town will win their first away game in the league at brentford. so i am not predicting that but that town may get a draw! little by little shrews. rumours ---------------- it is understood frank lampard's contract will not be renewed in may. he would make a great player/asst manager somewhere to start his management career off.
technically we have a problem here, on saturday shrews entertain high flying brentford. the facts are as above aqnd i predict shrews 1 brentford 1 att 6444, apologies for errata, caused by a lack of concentration and an overindulgance of croft original
This will be a very tough game. Fortunately, we seem to be grinding out results now, and are putting together a pretty handy unbeaten home run again. I think we'll nick a scarcely deserved point 2-2, thanks to goals from Richards and Parry in front of a crowd of 6,512
I never predict a Town loss and suspect we will sneak a surprise 1-0 victory with another 25 yard thunderbolt from Taylor in front of a crowd of 6200.
Shrewsbury 2 v 1 Brentford Morgan Rodgers Att 6250 Come on you blues, give us a win please. Should I be worried about talk of Jon Taylor 'hopefully staying with us until at least the summer'?
We did our best! Decent game, I think we were maybe a little better but a point was a fair result. We came closer to scoring when Taylor's goalbound effort was headed off the line from Bradshaw's cut back - I thought he had another decent cameo.
Bradshaw not on the field at that time. It was Goldson's cross from a superb Wildig pass. I would hate the gloved one to get too much credit!!!
a stunning point for town today against an in form team. little by little town are inching their way from danger. a bigger test comes at the ricoh stadium at 3pm next tuesday or any ground or common coventry can rent!
Right you are! Too determined to give the super-sub his due credit, I'm getting confused with his other passage of play that saw his cut-back blocked and winning us a corner from nothing...
