The Tigers will run checks on the fitness of Alex Bruce ahead of Tuesday night’s away game against Brentford. Bruce felt a slight hamstring problem after Saturday’s 2-0 win at MK Dons and will be assessed before manager Steve Bruce names his side for the clash at Griffin Park. There are no other fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, with Robert Snodgrass, Adama Diomande and Sone Aluko all out of contention, although Bruce may look at freshening up his side. “It’s been pretty trying over the last ten days or so, and now we have another game coming up on Tuesday night,” said Bruce. “Freshening it up may be in my mind with it being another trip away from home, but we’ve won three on the bounce in the league now so let’s hope that continues.” Brentford have concerns over midfielder Alan Judge after he limped out of Friday night’s win over Queens Park Rangers with a hamstring injury, but Lewis Macleod and Sam Saunders could be pushing for returns after spells on the sidelines. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...or-brentford-2780357.aspx#uddKhoocrgwVieEW.99
they are bang in form so will be a lot more difficult than satdee so although I still expect us to win, a draw would not be a bad result
I agree but can he be relied upon to press the opposition to the same degree that Chuba would? We're going to need maximum energy to get the best result from the next two games.
Fair point, he does tend to take his time tracking back also doesn't tend to press the opposition as well as Akpom.
It will be a big bonus for us if Judge is unfit to play, he has been there standout player and a lot of Brentfords play revolves around him. Would'nt mind if we had him in our squad.
I really hope Judge can't play... he's been ace for them so far. Hopefully Dave shows his old club what they're missing and smashes one in from 40yds out.
We've played a lot of games and have a big game coming up at the weekend we should freshen things up a bit. Watson Dave Dawson Maguire Robertson Elmo Livermore Huddlestone Diame Clucas Hernandez
Bruce always talks about changing it up and then doesn't. Is Alex ever not suffering from a minor injury? Considering how a player unfortunate enough to get one serious injury gets labelled sicknote, and how much junior's talents are discussed on here, I can't believe this isn't mentioned more often.
