Always a tough ask yesterday but when a team goes in with a defensive mind set and Don Cowie against 45,000 home fans and a team with confidence coming out of every pore, it was hardly surprising. One last chance "must win game" and the manager gets it wrong again. No Bellamy or Zaha from the start????? Probably would not have made any difference given the lack lustre pea shooting attack City possess but surely give it a go?

The whole season has been (apart from the few moments such as beating Man City & Swansea) a disaster and all so avoidable.

Inexcusable to allow an inexperienced manager not once but twice take control of a club in its inaugural season at this level. The writing was on the wall once the 2 transfer windows came and went without a proven goal scorer, full backs who can tackle and distribute, an experienced central defender to partner Caulker, a pair of strong midfielders, a goal scoring winger and better options off the bench.

£50m (£35m for Mackay and I assume £15m for Solskjaer) should have been ample for a club to have acquired a strong enough squad to have survived in a season when @36 points would have probably sufficed.

I think OGS only actually got £6M, but nevertheless, this has an eye-watering season watching a sub-Premier league standard squad.

OGS management skills have been called into question also and with some justification, but it can't be all down to him.

Interesting to see what happens before the start of next season in that department. Personally, I'd like him given a chance to get us back up with a full pre-season in front of him.

Strange how both BBC and SKY have displayed the attendance as 42,300 when the official club figure was 45,800..Fair play to the supporters who travelled up from Cardiff for what was a ridiculous time of day for a TV game with so far to travel.

Do you really. I just dont think he is up to it. He looks completely lost and out of his depth. Surely you would be better off with a good quality manager who has Championship experience. Malky maybe, only joking) Maybe some one like Eddie Howe or this maybe stretching it Mick Mcarthy.

Did Mick McCarthy get Ipswich up this year?

Don't get me wrong, I quite like McCarthy, but not to give Ole a go next year will just seem like another "Tan moment" to outsiders.

If we were going to change ship's captain again then we could do a lot worse than Colin.
