Brentford are to produce their largest ever match day programme for the game against Q.P.R. on Friday 30th October to raise funds and awareness for Stan Bowles and the Alzheimer's Society. Stan who played for both clubs in an illustrious career spanning 17 years,winning 5 England caps,was diagnosed with a form of Alzheimer's in the summer.Q.P.R. recently held 'Stan Bowles Day' in honour of the legend,and it is now Brentford's turn to show their appreciation for the former footballer. A percentage of each copy sold will go towards Stan Bowles' ongoing care needs and the Alzheimer's Society.Retailing at £4,£1 will be donated equally between the two causes. Nice to see them carrying on where we left off,while we continue to bemoan Ramsey's and the team's shortcomings,let us take a moment to reflect what's really important in this world!
