If all the bidders were told the rules and some chose to ignore them, they wouldn't appear to have too much to complain about. Having said that, the 'preferred bidders' make me distinctly uneasy. I wish it was a straightforward case of a new owner coming in for the club and that the property development side wasn't the driving force. However, beggars can't be choosers so I'll take having a club to support in preference to not having one any day of the week. I'm prepared to wait and see how things develop. At least we have Peter Reid!

Guilfoyle just defending his corner, and why not.

Having lived all my adult life in tory boroughs with tory MP's and councillors, Buttivant fits the mode for those who think they were born to rule the peasants.

So guess who I dont vote for around here, the liberals were always the second party but they have shot themselves in the foot as far as I'm concerned.

Buttivant didn't think he had to show the colour of his money up front, Guilfoyle is a northerner and doesn't take kindly to that attitude.

On the otherhand it's been like squeezing blood out of a stone with this Heaney phantom crowd........but he's getting there.

I don't buy this conspiracy theory regarding the Administrator being in the pocket of others. Why would they screw with their reputation in that way. There is no mileage in it and they get paid by result. The dealings may not be public knowledge or ever be made that but it will be known by other powers that be and if it was at all dodgy then somebody somewhere would scream. This all smacks of a sore loser throwing toys out of a pram to me. I may not be 100% in love with the new order but I am so glad that it wasn't Butivant. Just a gut feeling is that he would have well and truely screwed us over and was always going to be the worst option of them all.

He has a private investigator looking in to the dealing, what does he expect to achieve? The deal is done and he lost out. I have my doubts over the way its been done but what do i know! May ask Ds to look into it?
The club is still alive, so be thankfull.
