I've been underwhelmed by his handling of the press. He seemed to get himself in a jumble when commenting about Carroll and Allen with a variety of non-commital phrases. I think he seems like a decent enough bloke but hasn't got to grips with the fact that the press will pounce on his every word now and that, unlike when he was at Swansea, there are a number of people who are hoping he's going to fail. Stakes are high and he's not given much to suggest he'll cope, but that's why you go to a big club i guess. You'd kick yourself at the end of your career if you didn't have a go at it.
