That's all good and all. But klopp would have managed and maybe even kept hold of suarez maybe and sterling.

If Klopp had suarez sterling and sturridge be interesting to see how many goals we could have scored in games.

Firmino and lalanna backup as well.

    Keep the wife happy :bandit:

Klopp could have convinced him divorce was the right answer and marry our club instead <laugh>

I'd agree, but more about Playing for either Barca or Real, rather than just Spain. Think every club before that was just a stepping stone (including us). Track his club moves and its pretty much bigger club to bigger club

Suarez wanted to win trophies like every footballer. If we were able to beat city to the title, I don't think we can even keep him. The stigma associated with his JAW was hunting him

Klopp would have kept Suarez's Mrs. happy and wanting to stay another way.

The only comparison imo thats in any way relevant is rodgers last 12 months v klopps first 12 as the same players in most cases are present.

You might as well compare 2005 lfc to rogers first year as its irrelevant.

All we can say is a bad smell was gotten rid of when rogers went and a decent bit of football has been played recently

All comparison is pointless at the moment, imo.
We need at least this season to see where we get to under Klopp. Of course some things have changed already, and most of us consider it an improvement, but if we fizzle out part way through the season and end up as we were before then not many fans will be particularly chuffed about the aesthetic improvement.

True. The point would be it had to be changed and imo it was changed 10 months later than it should have been.

Wondering if the change is an improvement is a different point.

Imo you wont find any answers comparing a season 3 ago with different players to this 12 months.

If we are in top four and wins a trophy at the end of the season we have progressed.

You think Klopp would have kept Suarez from his dream move?

Or Sterling from making his dream big money move?

I don't know what jenners will say to that but for me it's impossible to answer. Who knows how much getting away from Rodgers factored into it. Only certainty is that both would have moved eventually. It was the right time and right move for Suarez who had already given us an extra year. Sterling should have stayed an extra year too to carry on his development but is too easily swayed by his agent. Bottom line - nobody can say with any certainty what would have happened.
