He said he wouldn't swap Coutinho for Mata or Ozil, i wonder if he would've said that a couple of years a go, i doubt it, Mata is better than both of them in my opinion.

Are you serious Matt (not sure) a couple of years ago Coutinho was a boy (still is really) but in the last two months he has been more effective than either Ozil or Mata, this may be because of the players he plays with or the style his team plays but it is a fact. Just out of interest would you swap Januzaj for Mata or Ozil because on current performancies i know i wouldn`t.

That's kind of him, pass on my regards back. While you talk him, let him know that most pool fans think he is a very promising player and will do very well. Unfortunately he was not one of the players Rodgers mentioned in his statement that is the subject of this thread, nobody said Coutiniho was better than him, so him saying hi has got very little to do with anything.
Out of interest, Matth, how would you have reacted if Rodgers had said something along the lines of "of course I'd prefer Mata to Coutinho. All of United's players are the best in the world in their position. I'm just gutted Cardiff got Fabio before I did."?
