....FC Barcelona..Who after owning them for 90 minutes last night, have put in a formal bid to make it permanent.
You forgot the two United got at the start of each half.Seeing as there were very few and far between, how could you lose count?
Brilliant! It was amazing how easily Barca pinged it around them. It actualy was like men against boys, just how comas/99 likes it.
Nice try, but with two Utd wins vs one Liverpool win this season, I think you'll find it's the other way round Get ready for another round of "boo hoo, Howard Webb was the only reason you won" from KPR and Co
Fergie said it was the best side Utd had ever been beaten by. If that's not getting owned then I don't know what is. Just being beaten certainly isn't, no matter how many clubs Swarbs can think of who've beaten Liverpool. Must be a few more yet, Swarbs. How about Northampton or Burnley? I'd have thought Utd would rather be owned by Barca than the Glazers.
You scraped it at Old Trafford and were gifted the FA Cup win. However at Anfield we stuffed you like a turkey. That was very much being 'owned'.
I still don't like the way we lack recognition for beating them a couple of years ago. They had the same team basically, Messi has improved a bit but despite that it was very much the same team. So whilst a few years ago when we were storming the league and Champion's league many would have said we were the best side in Europe and favourites to win the Champion's league, it all left very quickly.
Maybe not getting beaten, but getting beaten home and away by a team that got relegated classes as getting owned in my book. Aggregate score Blackpool 4-2 Liverpool sounds remarkably similar to Barcelona 3-1 Man Utd doesn't it? At least we have the excuse that Barcelona is the best team in the world This is the part where you roll out the references to 2009
But your book is a popup one. There's results and there's getting owned. Blackpool beat us just like Northampton, who weren't even Premier League to get relegated. But they were just losses, not ownership. BTW, the final is on again on ITV4 right now if you want to remind yourself what getting owned is. So owned you've got a Spanish barcode on yer arse.
Victor Valdés G. Zambrotta 90' Puyol R. Márquez Belletti 37' Xavi Deco 14' Thiago Motta L. Messi J. Saviola Ronaldinho That was the side in 2007 which is when you beat them Yeah great result in Barcelona- but Iniesta was on the bench and Pedro and Villa fit far better into there side than ronaldinho and saviola and no pique or dani Alves Again as I said it was a great result- but they have come along way since then!
I'm not, I just wanted to see how it felt. It was fun And after all, one good wum deserved another I think it was the same deal as when we beat them in 2008 - yes they were still a good side, but nothing compared to how they have been this season. I think this year they have shown the ability to play at an even higher level than in 2009, which I didn't think was even possible!
