Poor Ell seems to have got the shyts Todays big stories are mainly the usual pre Xmas rumors, but some dont seem to be going away. Leeds seem to be talking to Everton about signing Pennington full time next month. For me this would be brilliant if they allow him to leave. Man Utd's Woodburn & Liverpool's Kent are 2 stories that wont go away? I know we tried for Kent in the Summer but Klopp sent him to Germany but he hasnt been used so Klopp wants him home for more game time elsewhere. We dont need loan kids in my opinion unless they are brilliant and guaranteed to help us. Woodburn is highly thought of at Man Utd and scores goals but yet again is a kid and we already have a highly thought of kid (CBJ) who cant get a game Team selection tomoz should be interesting
Madger Gomes. What happened to him. As for the value of good loanies, the Chelski ones did the biz for the udders.
Good shout a kid in the first team squad but played 1 or 2 games only, mainly here for the development squad. We need great players who can add to what we have or even improve what we have.
Did anyone see the video the club posted yesterday with the kids doing karaoke, or duets together. We have the worst singers in the U23 league for sure. However the audience was full of club brass and Orta was sitting alongside the kids and getting heavily involved. For me it looks like these kids are his charges and his commitment to finding talent works on all levels. Only time will tell though as our kids need to develop this season as 2 seasons at the bottom of the league isnt a good look, and we need to see the 14 first teamers brought in all be a success on the pitch.
So you set off to scumchester in search of kids but have changed ur mind. I don’t understand your logic having being releaseded by the bin dippers why was he worth taking a punt on? If they felt he was in any way decent they would have signed him up and sold him on...
Good Morning from an autumnal Bardsey to Doc Matt and co Woodburn is good enough for our first team Pennington is not up to the plate yet.I remember earlier in the season Fletcher the Owls striker who is not renown for goal scoring saying he couldn't wait to get at the lad and he did just that completely out muscling him We still need a left back to balance the side.I hope these have been taken care of as we speak and not on 31 Jan
Yeah sorry mate got him mixed up with Lawrence from Man Utd, his name is forever mentioned as a target
Leeds United are in advanced talks with Manchester United to cancel Cameron Borthwick-Jackson’s season-long loan deal early, according to Football Insider. The football news site claim that the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement for the left-back to return to his parent club during the January window. Football Insider report that Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen is keen for Borthwick-Jackson to leave as it would free up space in the squad for a new loan signing next month. It is said that United are weighing up the option of sending their academy product, 20, out on loan again in the forthcoming window. Borthwick-Jackson joined Leeds in August on a season-long loan deal, but the defender has struggled to make an impact at Elland Road. A well placed source has told Football Insider that Leeds and United are c With his opportunties looking limited under Thomas Christiansen both parties are open to the idea of cancelling the loan early as soon as the transfer window reopens in 10 days. Should the loan be cancelled United would consider sending Borthwick-Jackson out on loan again, while his departure would free up space in the Leeds squad to bring in a new loan signing next month. The 20-year-old has made just one start in the Championship for Leeds with his four other appearances all coming in the EFL Cup. Left-back has been a problematic position for Leeds this season, but it appears Borthwick Jackson does not figure in Whites boss Christiansen’s plans. Borthwick-Jackson rose to prominence in the 2015/16 season when he made 14 appearances under former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal. He spent last season on loan at Wolves, but he endured a frustrating time at Molineux making just seven appearances for the club.
The clash between Sheffield United and Leeds United in February will be shown live on Sky TV. There is no change to the fixture at Bramall Lane on Saturday February 10th (12.30pm), having already been moved on Police advice. The reverse game at Elland Road in October was also shown live with Sheffield United claiming the three points with a late winner in their 2-1 win. The game is the 13th to be chosen for live coverage by Sky TV involving Leeds United so far this. The broadcasters will make their next round of choices for games from February 17th following the completion of the FA Cup Third ties to give fans five weeks` notice.
Bloody confusing as they keep saying 'United' instead of 'scum'. After all, Leeds is the only 'United' we're all interested in. I hope.
I don't think CBJ can cut the physical nature of the championship, another premiership academy pansy!
I think he is a lazy spoilt bastard who has never worked for a living.hes a wage theif and can fook off.
