Match Day Thread Breakfast At Turnbull's Cod v Chairboys 3rd Sept 22

After the sad loss of a true blue in Bill Turnbull the Chairboys take to the Road to take on our playoff semi final opponents from 2020 the Cods at Highbury looking to repeat the result at that ground back in July that year. The Cods are on the same points as ourselves having won one and drawn four of their six games.
Gaz will be making many changes from midweek and we can only hope that Vokes joins Tafa with a return to the squad having returned to training last week.
I will be following this game via Wanderers TV match commentary hoping the lads dig in and get all three points for Bill

We have our hands full today; they have beaten Plymouth in the League and drawn with Derby. And now they have added Muskwe, who was pretty good for us I thought. I reckon there will be no more than a goal in it. Let's hope we get more than they do

Until January if he keeps scoring but at least as he signed a contravt extension we should get a decent fee.

 

That makes 4 goals in 7 games, plus he got a special mention on the highlights show last week. People will definitely be keeping tabs on him. They tend to pay over the odds in January, although I hope he stays.
