May I take the opportunity provided by the International Play-offs to reflect on our fledgling forum so far this season. It cannot be east getting a forum of such high standards up and running in such a short time. We are of course indebted to our very clever moderator, well at least he was very clever when he was looking for this prestigious position, out witting a few Celts. However on closer inspection of those he out witted, maybe he did not have to be so intelligent. As well as moderator Stereo has shown a remarkable respect for all the management and all the players at Celtic. A true loyal Celtic fan that has us LOL reading some of his very witty comments. I would also like to show my appreciation to Pud Tom Cat Dev Advocate and many others to numerous to mention for their loyalty and devotion to myself a fellow Celt. It would be amiss of me not to mention HarryHood 67 and Espania Celt who share my views on most posts. As for the bears I wish them no good luck, as I am not a hypocrite, and suffice to say that if they crawl back into their pit at iprox I won't be disappointed. Every time they come on with their low intelligent sneering they lower the content of our Forum. I would like our esteem moderator to take action and remove them. Their post re Vanguard was a disgrace, blatant bigotry of the highest. Lies written again about our Manager and left on our Forum. Right, fellow Celts Keep the Faith and if I don't post on here until sometime a lot closer to the Caley game enjoy the break and will speak to you later.
Superhoops you can't disappear for ten days !! Give me your views from phil (who is always right ) blog today ??? He claims the Celtic directors are going to help Rangers along with the other spl teams to keep the punishment down to the minimum!!! I am disgusted at this but surely you must feel for Livingston , Dundee and Gretna who got the maximum punishment .Again the higher authorities bending over backwards to help their beloved Rangers
Thank you for your valuable input superhoops. I will consider all the points you raise and act on them in an appropriate manner. You may like to reflect, however, on the fact that this forum is called not606 for a reason. It was created by Mick and established by a number of posters, 99% of whom were/are Celtic and Rangers fans. It has always been the tradition of both the Celtic and Rangers forums that we welcome the views of both sides and action to remove articles or ban posters is taken only as a last resort. As it currently stands there are a couple of Rangers fans banned from the Celtic forum for their constant wumming. How long these bans will last is out of my hands as the decision to ban these posters was taken by the site owner. That's not to say I agree or disagree with such action. I'm merely pointing out how this site works. If you have a particular problem with a thread or a post you'll find there is a complaint button which takes the shape of a small, black triangle with an exclamation mark and can be found underneath every comment. If you have cause to use this facility your complaint will be considered and appropriate action taken. Furthermore, if you have a problem with a specific poster you can always PM me and I will take action if required. Finally, if you have a problem with my moderating skills and think me unfit for the post you can always PM the site owner who will consider your complaint.
Can I just point out that the Vanguard thread was started by a Celtic fan (Dev), that the Rangers fans who contributed were as vociferous in their condemnation of the VB as the Celtic fans and there was no bigotry on there unless you think a sketch lifted (almost) verbatim from the Simpsons about Homer and Apu is racist.
