Posh sounded like an extremely poor side tonight and literally gave us 3 valuable 3 points. How on earth can a team travel away and only seem interested in putting 8 men behind the ball and expect anything other than a loss. These kind of games should end up in a rout but usually they are anything but a cakewalk, but we got what we needed and wanted.

We had over 70% of the possession at one point but tailed off to 61% but a win is a win every time and well done boys. With 2 difficult away coming up in the next week we needed this win and points out of both coming games should see us still at the top we hope.

Don't worry about MK Dons they are 5 points behind and played a game more. Every win brings Auto promotion that bit closer, it is ours to lose!!

The problem with being top is that everyone tries that bit harder against you. I believe City's recent lapse in form was exposed against the Blades. Now the question is, was this a blip? I believe if we get 4 points out of the next two games then this will re-assure most observers that we are indeed on our way. The problem for us old cynics is that we have been used to recent failure and can't believe our current season is actually happening (or is it just a dream)

I think it's time we stopped worrying about 2nd place and focus on 3rd. As it stands we're 7 points clear, could be 10 by Saturday. The further we're away from 3rd the better, automatics is what we want!

My thoughts exactly shiny. If we focus on staying above the 3rd place by gaining points from every game then we will leave the worrying to others.

Just keep winning and the maths do become impossible-

To explain my drift, Yeovil in 24th can get 73 points- We wont go down with 64, but mathematically in theory we could- Very, very shortly, as early as Tuesday even, it could be mathematical- Slowly, more and more clubs cant overtake us and once just one or none can, we are there.

We are getting to that business end of the season, and the great thing is that top place is in our own hands. Let everyone else worry about their own results. We just need to concentrate on ours.

The statistics never lie and eventually what seemed a distant goal becomes a mathematical certainty and all we need to do is keep ahead of the trailing wave.

every game brings auto closer... if we win draw lose alternate games puts us on 84 / 85 / 87 points! however if we lose 5 /6 let it be against teams like Colchester and Yeovil!!!!!

Ouch! Still 10 minutes left and I think they were still on the M25 at kick-off.
