Yes there's nothing quite like a bunch of tax dodging ****ers going around in circles is there NOT !!
That was some drive by Verstappen, even though he had the best tyres towards the end. Though Lewis was outstanding also, shows the mark of his driving that he had no issues even though the weather was atrocious.
Wouldn't it be better if all the cars were the same? Then it would all come down to driver ability and team tactics (with the use of the tyres etc.) Every year we find out who has the best car and then that driver/teams wins. Seems a bit daft that the only battle each year is just the two drivers of the same team.
Each series has its own requirements. For fairness the best series in my view is currently the BTCC. Car equalised, running standard suspension components, they even supply a standard engine for those not wanting to develop their own within the rules. Close racing and unrivaled pit access for the general public. Croft and Donington Park are our closest circuits.
The problem is casual fans (like me) have no idea about the BTCC. I'd never heard of it. I don't know anything about motor sports at all and I'm put off 'getting into it' because of the flaws I percieve in Formula 1.
What about if half of them went clockwise and the other half went anti clockwise? I'm sure that would make it a lot more exciting and dangerous. Not sure if you would have a winner but, I'm sure it would be more entertaining.
