We were going to pay 34million for Omerodion 2 weeks ago, yesterday he signed for Porto for 13 million.
Can't our dopey owners see they are being. either.......
    1. Shafted monumentally by the MegaClowns Stewart and Winstanley??
They have wasted most of the money spent so far, and brought in arguably 4 decent players in total for nearly
1.3 Billion. That kind of strike rate should see them working for League 3 in Latvia or Lower Bolo, not a PL Club
( for the time being at least) in the UK.
Or 2. The MegaClowns are simply following orders and getting paid handsomely for it. In which case, good luck to them.

    I'm betting on 1.

We did. When we manage the same score against Arsenal, City or Liverpool I'll be convinced we are on to something.
However, there were signs things are definitely looking up. Cuccarella seems to have kept his form and is going really well , Fofana and Colwill are doing better as a pairing and Madueke looks the business. Mudryk is a serious problem and Enzo is still looking for a position to call home . Lavia and Caciedo are stand out midfield 1st choices when fit, the midfield is more solid with them, which is not good for Enzo. As for the rest, all looked up for it and played well. I didn't see a lot of the back 4 slowing things down, which I understood was the Managers style, so if they play like that each game I'll be well pleased. The Team was quicker, more direct and attack minded than I thought the new style was to be. That's a surprise of the best kind. Now If the off field nonsense can start to be brought under control as well then that would be a real bonus.

We played some nice stuff and we have some real depth in the attacking positions now with Felix, Neto & Nkunku all coming on as subs. Madueke will probably get the season based on that performance and if he’s still inconsistent I think we’ll get rid. Mudryk is a problem though, wonder if we’ll try and loan him out somewhere.

I’m still not convinced by the centre back pairing or the midfield pairing and we looked particularly weak at set pieces. If we sign anyone for big money before the transfer window closes I’d prefer it to be a top quality centre back rather than a striker. Something to build on though and at least if we’re scoring six we can afford to lose a couple of goals!

It sure looks like Oshimen is not coming , he is one striker I'd love to have, but others of his quality are just not around. I thought the CB we got in from Fulham ? Brentford?? can't remember which, is supposed to be experienced and good? Colwill and Fofana are both young and will need time, maybe having the experience there can see them alternate and hopefully learn? Plus Reece James if he comes back ,will add some stiffness to the back, though Gusto looks terriffic there as well. My midfield would be Casiedo, Lavia and Dewsbury Hall every time. D-H is not a superstar but he's what we need, 2 footed, direct, box to box and no mug. We looked much stronger in midfield with those 3.
