Glad i put brady in my fantasy team, he's got me more points than Van Persie :) just need to transfer Mata out now. Any one know how long David louis is out for??

Bradys finish against orient was great, getting the space to shoot and putting it in the back of the net in such a congested box was great. Is he the striker were missing? hope brucie keeps playing him in advanced roles.

Don't know which site your using but you appear to have 5 Hull players & none of the ones I've seen allow more than 3 per team. Also why would you have 5 from Hull? There are many better players than what we have.

its the sun one, mainly because i support city, we've got a good defense and the other 3 will hopefully get a few goals assists and star player ratings

Based on that "Waggyesque" strike-yes. Had all the hallmarks of Citys greatest striker in his hallmark days.

It's a pity there isn't a striker called Hindley, a strike force of Hindley and Brady would surely scare any defence, particularly a young inexperience one.

Unfortunately, the only Hindley I can find is Gary Hindley, who is a keeper and is 66 years old.

That would be bad when we are playing in Manchester.

Coincidentally I have a reference to that in my signature... not that many would notice.

I don't see how mine is 'below the belt'. My post is just saying that having a strikeforce called Brady and Hindley would likely get a bit of stick in Manchester, particularly by the media there. It is incredibly distasteful.

I was referring to the Smiths quote in my sign as well, which is from the song 'Suffer Little Children' a song which remembers those who were disgustingly take away from this life long before their time by making tribute to them.

Those murders are a horrific part of British history, and hopefully nothing of the like will ever be seen again.

I wish people wouldn't take things so personally on here. It's in the context of a joke and the person making the joke is in no way endorsing the actions of either party. We all know it.

It bugs me when people say "oh you can't joke about that". Well you can. You make a joke about anything. Shows like South Park and Family Guy (not sure Matt Stone and Trey Parker would appreciate being mentioned in the same sentence as FG) do it all the time.

I've made jokes referencing the holocaust, murders, rapes, racism etc. I'm guessing a lot of people on here have had jokes texted to them by "that mate" and laughed. If people get offended by it, then fine, they took offence. I didn't give any out. I didn't go up to them and tell them I'm glad those things happened and that I'm a budding member of the Manson family following. Offence with regards to comedy is always taken, it's never given.

If they've had a personal experience regarding something horrific then that's tragic and it explains why they wouldn't find it funny. Fair enough. It doesn't mean I couldn't tell that joke to somebody else.

Sorry for the rant, but as a writer, it's annoying to see people saying "You can't write/say that, it's offensive."

Well said mate, we should start a thread were people with a more extreme sense of humour can write these types of jokes! As long as the title of that thread correctly warns those who would be offended properly... <whistle>

Oh I know. I mean, imagine that. Imagine creating a thread for that kind of stuff that people knew they might be offended by and therefore wouldn't dream of clicking on it. Wouldn't that be swell?

    Well, we can dream.
