Will Bruce risk him on Saturday? Sounds like he thinks Brady might be ready to play. Can't see him getting more than 15-20 minutes as a sub though at most? Who would he drop from the squad? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27415745
I can't think he will drop anyone for a player who hasn't played for how long is it? I'd also like to think he will and Brady will come on and score the winner.
I would be very surprised if a player who has been out for so long and is therefore not match fit nor match sharp will be in the team, or even on the bench
I'm not sure I agree with that. He's no Lambert or Lampard. Yes he's got a decent recod (3 in 3 I think) but he's taken such a small number that we can't say he's a specialist and every one he's scored has just been a gentle stroke into the corner. If the keeper had gone the other way it'd have been an easy save on all occasions. There is an argument that it isn't a coincidence the keeper guesses the wrong way and that he's waiting for the keeper to move first, but that can only really be proven by looking at his record after he's taken a lot more.
I'd expect him to be on the bench and either be introduced late on if we were maybe only one goal down and just needing a bit of something different to get us a goal or if it goes to extra time, he might get brought on late in the second period to be able to take a pen if it goes that far.
can only see him coming off the bench if the clock is ticking and we are a goal down. if we are level or dare i dream it-winning, it will be backs to the wall defending. should we get to 119mins level and still have a sub left however then we may see him come on....
