Hi guys, Cardiff city fan here. There are rumours on the City boards saying that Bradshaw may be coming to us but no one seems to be able to pin anything down. all i've seen is an article linking him with West Spam. does anyone have anything new about this. I saw on your board a comment about an improved offer ubt we didn't evne know one had been made in the first place. Was it? How much? How much do you want? Has he gone? Is he staying? lol lots of questions can anyone tell me the latest gossip or real news? Thanks boys, have a good season!
last we heard was that cardiff had spent up for the season, but if you have a spare 750k for our welsh international, you may try again. good luck
Actually, we haven't dipped into the kitty at all...750k would be well within our budget. We were just wondering where the rumour started and if there is any truth in it?
I think people have put two & two together based on the fact that he's Welsh. But I think the lad still needs to prove himself in L2 before earning a move to the Championship.
He's a guy with potential but he's still at the stage of his career when that potential could come to nothing and he could flop bigger than Michael Ricketts! I'd say it would be a stupid move all round for both player and club if he were to join you this season. I've heard nothing solid on this at all.
in a years time, tom bradshaw after helping shrews promo efforts will be an ideal signing for the bluebirds for say 1.2 million. it is true to say he has yet to establish himself in L2, mainly due to the manager glueing his bottom to the bench. if he is allowed to blossom this year look out L2, but cardiff are bound to keep a watching brief on him, or swansea
i hope the board play it a bit cagey with him, he is undoubtedly a talented player...and Cardiff know this!!
i knew there were rumours flying around in the summer about tb. i agree he should go on loan if he cannot keep a regular place in the team, or perhaps cardiff may prove rumours true and make waves next month
He's unquestionably a good young forward, and I wonder whether a loan deal to a lowly League Two team for a month or two might be a good idea? He works hard, has a bit of pace about him and can finish, but he needs to work on his consistency and first touch before he's good enough to be playing week-in, week-out for us, let alone an ambitious championship club! However, as the likes of Ricky Lambert and Grant Holt have proved, it's quite plausible to make the jump from League 2 to the Championship at a ripe age, so young Tom, with his pace and instinctive finishing, may actually be worth a punt for you - he'd probably get a similar amount of game time (due to Turner's reluctance to play him) and would benefit from being around better players and using better facilities with better coaches.
i remembered a thread about bradshaw in the summer and cast my net and trawled. i also found a great long thread with chris gashead having a pop but deemed it too sensitive to reintroduce it. it is quite simple just trawl through the numbers at the bottom to repro old articles. i should have pointed out it was an old item
