Great gesture from MOTD, and given Mkhitatyan was offside think Bradley is outright winner for me " A seriously ill five-year-old boy who took to the pitch for his beloved Sunderland has won Match of the Day's Goal of the Month award. Bradley Lowery, who has neuroblastoma, took part in the warm-up against Chelsea on 14 December, scoring a goal. A campaign saw fans call for the strike to be given the accolade. The youngster, of Blackhall, County Durham, was named joint-winner alongside Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Bradley's mum, Gemma, tweeted: "Brad just woke up and watched #MOTD2 and found out he got #goalofthemonth - he is over the moon."
Special mention for Diego Costa. Thought at the time , and Lawrenson last night said he gave a good couple of minutes to the lad. A twat on the pitch, (that's Diego, not Bradley) but maybe he's a decent bloke.
Saw that in the BBC website earlier. Nice gesture for a lad and family in a terrible position. I hope a miracle comes their way!
Everyone including all the away fans/players have been utterly superb with him. Everton donated a large chunk of the funds he required a while back. Brilliant from the BBC in a horrible situation for the family.
At last the BBC get something right in regards to something associated with our club, Well done Bradley and wish you well for the future.
A beautiful gesture by everyone, poor lad I wish I could help him. God may you help him and bless him.
