Just because he's in the Championship doesn't mean he wont become/is a good player. Plently of examples across the premier league of players making the step up very well.

Where does he actually play in midfield though?

He is a left winger. I have seen him play before and he is a good championship player but no better than Routledge or Guthrie in my opinion.

He is 23, so there is potential to improve, but if we want to stay in the league and improve on our position next season, we need proven Premier League talent or someone who has played well at a higher level.

He's decent yeah but probably no better than Routledge, not sure he could take the step up to the Prem
A very good championship player though. One of Leeds' best, along with Gradel and Becchio. Dad's a Leeds fan so I get to see/hear a lot about their players ha.

He's not a left winger, he plays in central midfield. He's an effort player rather than a flair/intelligence one. I wouldn't be sad if he stayed here, I wouldn't be sad if he went. Average Championship player, probably not worth a punt as far as Premiership teams are concerned. Becchio, Gradel, Schmeichel, Howson and Snodgrass are all far better players than Johnson.

I've never seen him play but if that comments true(coming from a Leeds fan)^ then I wouldn't want him, seems to be no better than Guthrie.

If we're planning on bringing in a couple of bigger names in the summer then he is the type of player we need...Young and versatile, not a world beater and therefore probably willing to be back up to the bigger names (for a bit anyway)!
