BWP has thanked the fans for sticking with him during his barren spell

    No problem Bradders we are always happy with people as long as they try during games

    Top man Bradley, brought up right by his parents and pleased he's with us.

    <cheers>

    As I've mentioned before I will never fully warm to BWP - regardless of this current good relationship with the fans I'm sure he wouldn't think twice about moving on if a 'better' oppurtunity arose.

    But that's a fantastic Francis Bacon quote - is that the artist or the philosopher?

    The artist once said 'I have tried but never succeeded in painting the smile...'

    Sorry Stu all I saw of the Oscars was J'Lo... (I don't think there is a suitable smiley for that tbh)

    It's great that he has taken time to thank us. However, the piece I enjoyed most was his bit about Kermorgant:

    Kermo has been absolutely exceptional since he walked through the door. He was head and shoulders above anyone else for my MOM on Saturday.

    The way he supported BWP when he missed chances, that he would normally score in his sleep was fantastic. On more than a few occasions he looked distraught when BWP missed a chance that would’ve put an end to his baron run.

    The way he played on Sat, constantly looking for BWP at every opportunity, it looked to me as if he made it his own personal crusade to help his mate end his goalless streak… I'm convinced that Kermo would’ve happily stayed out there until midnight, grafting and bustling away if it meant BWP would score that elusive goal.

    For me he is fast becoming the best striker of his ilk that I’ve had the pleasure of watching in the red and white of my beloved Charlton He epitomises everything I want to see from a player at my club. I absolutely love the fella to bits…!!

    I laughed out loud when I read this... brilliant…!! <laugh

    They deserve to be too. Solly's full-back play is a pleasure to watch, just as CP's used to be.

    That 'peanut-head' comment was hilarious <laugh>

    Agree with everything thats been said about Kermit (as well as Solly). He's such a brilliant player and I hope he stays with us for a long time. I'm not entirely convinced by the 'partnership' between BWP and Kermit, at times its a bit hit and miss, but individually they are brilliant brilliant players, and when the partnership does work, it works perfectly.
