Shame, I think he's a very good keeper.

But unfortunately we cant force players to come to us.

Nah you're alright, glad he rejected. Would have come on a big wage just to be sat on the bench, no better than Fielding. We either want someone better who can push for number 1 or a upcoming youngster. Personally i'd just have O'Leary on the bench and if Fielding ever gets injured/loss of form just get an emergency loan in.

Thank god he is dogsh1te. It would appear though that getting splinters in his arse on the Liverpool bench for the past few years has given him an overinflated opinion of himself. No Prem club would take him as a No1. I wonder if he went public to 'alert' clubs to his availability.

Apparently he was to be offered £10k a week to sit on the bench at Liverpool a few months ago, so for a whole league step down I reckon he'd probably come here on comparative wages, not the load that most seem to think.

Since we've been rejected by two keepers, I'd be more inclined to stick with our academy and promote from within. We should put faith in Fielding at this level and provide him another understudy. If Fielding ****s up, sign someone on an emergency loan.

Fairly unimpressed with Jones when he played for Liverpool so no loss

Could be that nobody wants to be an understudy to Frank. The keepers we have sounded out are all decent players so of course they would like to be a number 1 at BC. I don't believe its too much of a slight

TBH RR, Frankie would get my vote over anything we have had between the sticks since Basso. He was back to the form that earned him an England cap last season, and we would most certainly not have walked away with the title if he had not been.

But thats the trouble isn't it. He will be a hard player to budge, and that for a Championship side.
A quality keeper with ambition will not be happy fighting for a place on a Championship bench.
Like yerself, I am more concerned with central defence and another front 2

Barring two seasons with us, he was a championship player with an England call up as well! Maybe last season he's getting his confidence back.
Shame really, with our fans we are good at taking confidence away from players.

I think he is one of the worst keepers in prem history personally and am delighted he isn't interested. Much better for a lot less wages out there!
