Any views on whether we should try to keep Guzan or not ?
For - has always seemed like a really solid reliable performer and he has more experience than Mannone
Against - We need to strengthen team elsewhere?
What are our chances of holding on to one of them at the end of the season?

I like Brad, can be iffy on crosses but is quick and his kicking and distribution are good. Don't know who I would choose between him and Mannone, maybe the Italian just shades it for me.

Mannone definitely wins it of the twof of them but I'm comfortable with Guzan in goal too. They're both streets ahead of Duke.

Mannone and Guzan have shown what we have been missing for a number of years, commanding goalkeepers. I respect Myhill for us over the years and Duke is a good lad but these two are solid benchmarks for what we need in a number 1.

My own thoughts on this are simply that Mannone should play tommorow as Guzen is on his last game before his loan finishes. Without having any knowledge what Villas ideas are regarding their keeper, I think that since Mannone is with us until the endg of the season we should start with him. Im not suggesting for one minute that Guzan needs to be dropped, far from it, he has done well for us, but my view is based on what we know now and what is certain for the rest of the season as it stands at the mo.

My thoughts are, we should start with Mannone tomorrow to give him match time, with decent cover still on the bench. It would not be the first (and won't be the last) time a player has "broken down" on his return to first team action. If he cruises through tomorrows game, we will then be returning a player to his parent club fully fit, which can only hold us in good stead with the parent club for the future.

I think we should start Guzan, he's been solid for us and with Mannone just recovering from injury, and how big a game tomorrow could turn out to be for us, I don't think we should be taking any risks. Also if we were to bid for Guzan or extend his loan again, would dropping him now put us on bad footing when trying to get him to return? Probably not I'd say, but still something to consider..

Yes I think I'd be happier with Guzan tomorrow too, its going to be a big home game for us and a big ask for Mannone to come back in. Has he played for the reserves since he's been back?

Weare not talking about an inexperienced keeper in Mannone, only the fact that he has had an injury. I dont think it would faze Mannone at all if he was recalled.

Personally I think Guzan is suspect .I believe Mannone is the better keeper and he or even Duke would not have let in Jason Scotlands goal for Ipswich.Guzan also troubles me with his tendency to spill the ball and not stop shots cleanly.

I think we should extend Guzans loan contract till the end the end of the season, and the basis that hes been solid, mannone might not be fully fit and might need a few games, its healthy competition, and the young keeper oxley might gain some good tips from these keepers. If we let mannone back and i doubt it will but his form its any good we need back up and id be more than happy to keep Guzan for the final few games.

Not the same arguement but I think that they are both better than Boaz as well.

I think Mannone is the better keeper. His distribution is better. Mind you I agree with what everyone has been saying about these two being what we have been missing. Both are better than what we have had and yes I am including Myhill in that.

Think we need to use Mannone today - he's going to be our keeper for the rest of the season so why not? Guzan will be going to free up a loan space - although Guzan has been good for is, Mannone is a better keep. plus he'll be up for this game to prove his self - so if mannone plays expect a great performance.
