I hope we're interviewing him this time rather than the accepted QPR practice of allowing potential managers to interview us! Uninspiring perhaps, but we've got to be decisive and strike quickly to get someone in who can inspire and lead the team off the pitch; who can then get someone to do the same as captain on the pitch. On the bright side, we might get Adebayor! Remember this is QPR and we rarely have a new manager bounce (more like a dead cat bounce!) I'd like to think we're sounding out Brendan Rodgers too....
Please NO NO NO - would rather see Pearson (loathsome character he may be, but he'd give the players the kick up the arse that they need/deserve!)
I joked on another thread the ideal scenario would be Sherwood getting a job with Ramsey as his assistant, I didn't mean our job!...
He is a complete idiot IMO Can't stand the bloke If they make a change which I hope not ... Then Rogers suits Rangers football but expect a lot of losses before we win matches
I'd prefer Rodgers. Has shown he can get a team promoted. He was on a hiding to nothing at Liverpool as expectations always exceeded resources.
Whilst I have always doubted Ramsey's suitability for the job and I despair of the brand of "football" that is being offered us this season, I am most definitely not ready to jump on the new manager merry-go-round yet again. I would be beyond despair if we started talking to the arch egotist Sherwood, whose limitations have been quickly highlighted at Aston Villa. The equally loathsome Pearson has a much better track record. Quite honestly, apart from a handful of games, I haven't much enjoyed our football since Neil Warnock got us promoted. And he did it with a bunch of players of an altogether lower pedigree. Now there's a thought...
Totally agree Rodney, I just don't enjoy watching us at the moment, the football is appalling & wrong selection & subs, ok I shall still go as I got s/t but not excited to watch them at present, Ramsey out of his depth.
