The soulless corporate entity that is Manchester United Football Club is rocking after their worst start to a season in nearly 30 years. Having rid themselves of the Special One, it now amusingly falls to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to lead an expensively assembled team at the CCS. City’s home form has managed to keep their heads above the relegation water thus far but new manager boost may lead to a struggle against a rejuvenated United team, regardless of how inept Ole was when managing us!
 
Got to agree with Bluescull on this. Unfortunately they will come to us having had the Miserable One's shackles removed. They will pick their best players free of personal feuds with the manager and look to perform.

Our main hope will be that many of their defenders are carrying injuries so they may still be a shambles at the back. However while OGS has deficiencies in setting up a defence, Phelan will sort that out in time.

1.2 to the Mancs. Arter to get his first for us.

As an aside, great take off on 5 Live on Tuesday with an impressionist talking over a Smiths backing track in a Portuguese accent: -

If Mourinho was still in the job I think we could have got a draw here. But I feel the Man U players will have something to prove to the ex-special one. But then again Ole is in charge :emoticon-0105-wink:
Sod it. We're at home in front of a passionate crowd, so I'll go for a 1-1 with Paterson bullying their defence and getting our goal.

I was going to go 1-1 before the sacking, now I will go 1-2 with Paterson. It will be interesting to see what side Ole (or Phelan) puts out
 
Would have fancied us if Jose was still in charge but Man Utd will have a new lease of life unfortunately for us -Cardiff 0 Manchester 2
 
Pessimists!!!!!...........I wont be surprised one bit if they score - maybe even a couple, but we will win this by the odd goal in 5.

Love your optimism Sparks. Now that would make for a very happy Christmas.
 
Hoping for a 4th home win on the bounce, but not sure if we can acheive it.
A 4-0 defeat seems to be bouncing around in my head. I hope I am way off the mark and we get a draw.
4-0 Man Utd win, no Bluebirds scorer. :(
