Prediction League BPPL - Euro 2016 Prediction Cup (Registration)

Since I'm here this June/July I can organise a continuation of the league season and another prediction cup based on the international bananza in France this summer. Here's what I'm proposing -

Format
Basically a group stage followed by knockout rounds that mirror the actual tournament. Of course this is dependent on the number of entrants (hopefully a nice even number) but 8 is my ideal number of contestants progressing out of the groups in terms of organsing head to head matches. That means that the actual Round of 16 fixtures will become part of the predicting group stage. But more confirmation on that later

Scoring
Might trial some new stuff in the group stages. Might not. Probably be able to predict scorers from both sides as its international. Suggestions welcome.

The Draw
Comment below and depending on my ranking system (which I might explain at some point) you'll be seeded into pools below (which will vary on numbers). Anyone can enter but only BPPL players will be seeded. Draw will take place on Sunday 5th June so there is a deadline for registration. If you are abroad over this period or following the boyos in France you can predict your fixtures in advance and I'm sure we can work something out.

Stick down who you think will win and how far Wales will get with your interest.

I'm in too, please. And I reckon I will have a sneaky tenner or so on Wales to do a Greece and win it. but if we don't win, we'll go out in the first round!!! it's **** or bust.

 

I'm in , please. I'm putting a bob or two on Wales to win but if they don't, they will go out in te first round and then, sadly, Germany will win.

As I live in France I think Wales will get out of the group stage just,but France will beat Germany in the final.
