The club have no fewer than 16 players on International duty this week. Fortunately definites for first team selection - Schwartzer, Dembele, Dempsey and the Pog - haven't got far to go. The obvious worry is injuries and especially Dembele who always seem to come back from a Belgian stint with a knock (or worse). Schwarzer will be playing in Melbourne. I can't think of too many places further away to be honest! Good news that Dempsey/Ruiz are only travelling to Italy/Wales respectively. However, I am also worried about Moussa's trip to Greece...
If my memory of recent tournaments is correct, I don't think we have much to fear from any of the Greek strikers. I'll get my coat.
Hangeland has pulled out of the Norwegian team and Kelly out of the Republic's. Both have thigh strains, but neither injury is thought to be serious enough to jeopodise them playing on Sunday.
Not surprised about Hangeland pulling out - he's played pretty much every domestic and European game this season so needs a break and Norway aren't going to Poland/Ukraine anyway. I'd have thought Kelly would want to make sure he's in the reckoning for the Euros, so maybe he's actually injured.
Demps was obviously the star on the night but everybody appears to have come through unscathed. Here's a round up by the Club on how our lads got on - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/March/InternationalRound-Up.aspx
