On Sky Sports just now, on about George Boyds collapsed move to Forest. Their Manager was ranting that Boyd had been messed about & his failed medical due to 'dodgey eyesight' was bullshit from Forest He then went on to say "Forest then wanted him on loan & I said no, there is strong interest from a better Championship team with more chance of reaching the play-offs than Forest who want to take George on loan on Feb 8th" EMERGENCY LOAN???? COULD THAT MYSTERY TEAM POSSIBLY BE LEEDS???? We have signed 2 target men up front, but no wing man to provide the crosses (as yet) could Boyd be the man?
He'd be good. I know the player was gutted not to get his move. My mum works with his mrs in Peterborough and I've been many a time to see him play (local club growing up). He does have a touch of class and definately would add something in a position that we need filling! I've wanted him to come for ages, and although sorry for the guy, was secretly pleased when the deal fell through last night.
He'll probably end up at Palace, but we(Hull) made an enquiry about him after we played them a couple of weeks back.
