Just check out the games on Friday, if we can put Hull away, this could be a bloody good weekend for us.

We could, just could, start to put some real daylight between us and the team's below us, and breathing space before we dip our toes in the market for desperately needed strikers.

    West Brom v Man City
    Arsenal v QPR
    Palace v Southampton
    Burnley v Liverpool
    Leicester v Spurs
    Everton v Stoke
    Swansea v Villa

A good second half to the season could see us really push on now.

Haway Santa, we've been good mackems this year!

If all goes to plan those are great fixtures, establishing a 7 point gap and getting within a point or so of the top half wouldn't half make us more attractive to potential new recruits.

I sat after the derby, amazing to win a derby but the 3 points were massive and put us in place to change the whole complexion of the season. Another win against Hull and we really do start to look up the league.

Gonna be a relaxed Christmas on that score, we are in great shape.

We had two shockers against Hull last season straight after confidence boosting derby wins! Hope it doesnt happen again!

We're a different kettle of fish this season mate. So much harder to beat.

They're on a poor run and confidence will be high in our changing rooms. We have to make that count on Friday. It's a must!

Another 3 points and as GG says above, we look a whole lot more attractive to potential signings.

It has the makings of a very good day. Results permitting we could be 12th.

You do realise though, don`t you, that if we beat Hull and they end up being relegated it`ll all be our fault.

Aye, as the old expression goes "you are only as good as your last game". The first half hour of Sunday's effort will see us home early.

True. Tis a nasty habit we`ve got.

Realistically I reckon 3pts from Hull, 1pt at Villa, nowt at ManC. Enough to make a difference.
