Bowyer Out ?

I’ve got to be honest, based on the evidence of my own eyes today, my faith in Bowyer is evaporating faster than shares in Toys R Us this Xmas.

- the perverse starting line ups
- the refusal to start our 2 best players
- the negative subs
- the negative, Don Howe- like , sit back and protect a lead in the final 20 min of EVERY GAME that we lead in.

Enough is enough.

By my reckoning Lee Bowyer has cost us at least 7 points so far this season by sitting back like this. It could well cost us promotion.

I hope there are voices strong enough within the club to call him out.

There may be rising numbers criticising Bowyer on social media, but I don't think Thomas Sandgaard will pay much attention to that.
The vast majority of our fans have been silenced by Coronavirus.

Unless crowds begin gathering outside the Valley demanding Bowyer's sacking TS isn't even going to think about a change.
And although dissatisfaction is growing, we are still a very long way from Bowyer being hated in the way Pardew or Fraeye were.

Bowyer is secure for the rest of the 2020-21 season, promotion or not.

 

Same errors being repeated by LB every game, I want him to succeed but it’s becoming bloody frustrating.

Why bring Purrington on again ?

 

I could understand that one, because Maatsen can play midfield, but Matthews??? From that moment the writing was on the wall

 

He is addicted to bringing defenders on when we are in front. Shore up what you’ve got is his motto, regardless of how the match is going.

Personally I think he still deserves the season, we're not at risk of going under so I'll take crap overly defensive football. At the end of the season we can assess from there.
