Playing Bournemouth at home this week, thought we should probably have a proper match day thread (Ok I copied it off the web again.... sue me) this week... No protest's this week in respect of remembrance Sunday. What time does Newcastle vs Bournemouth kick off? The action gets under way at 3pm. What are the injury concerns? Who is in the teams? Newcastle will be without Florian Lejeune and Jamie Sterry through injury. Jamaal Lascelles, Jonjo Shelvey and Yoshinori Muto were replaced through injury during the game against Watford but Ciaran Clark should be back in the squad after missing the win through sickness. Meanwhile, Josh King is rated as doubtful for Bournemouth with an ankle injury. Referee: Lee Probert Newcastle likely XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Dummett; Diame, Ki; Ritchie, Perez, Kenedy; Rondon What's the story morning glory? Win Draw Lose?
The cherries are playing really well. I live more or less next to the Stadium. Managed to go to a couple of cup games. Got quality right through the squad and a proper identity in their style of play. Eddie is v.good at going after the other teams weak points. Having said that I've got a feeling we will get something out of the game. Would be good if King was out as him and Wilson are a proper handful when playing together.
“Fairly”?! Utterly predictable, never changes, much like our pace.. Bit like our “aim for header at back post” set piece rubbish.
Meant in terms of available personnel - still would've had a couple of the younger lads on the bench though
