    Welcome to Sotonsaints 2nd ever match day thread which will be a massive success I guarantee you, despite the best efforts of the boards negative tosser @fatletiss trying to jinx it :emoticon-0173-middl

    The 2 sides could not have had more different starts to the season. Bournemouth are flying high having already put in some pretty impressive displays both home and away, the latest being the 4-0 demolition of Watford. Meanwhile Saints have been pretty piss poor overall, despite glimpses of promise at times in many games so far this season. The result of this general piss poorness means they find themselves hovering just above the drop zone after they were well beaten 3-0 last time out by a strong Chelsea side.

    I've got a feeling this season is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. On the positive side at least i said it was going to get better.

    They had an opportunity of a lifetime (for them) last season and they bottled it and I reckon they will be overconfident as usual getting themselves all worked up and we'll get a comfortable away win <ok>

    There's a reason why they've got one win in 9 matches against us, they rarely turn up.

    Should be an interesting match..........Sorry to say IMO the best we'll get is a draw. However I am always prepared for a pleasant surprise. For me Saints while they do have the capability, they just are not playing to their ability nor as a coordinated team. Yes they do in flashes perhaps...but in this league that is nowhere near good enough.
