    Yep. Functional performance. Nothing to write home about.

    Almost there, minimum objective (CL place) nearly achieved. The Chavs have to win all their matches to overtake us.

    Poor display but two well worked goals. Can only think that if that was an interview for a semi final place not many fancy the game.

    In the last few weeks I have seen Ake play 4 times, twice for Holland and twice for Bournemouth (against us and Liverpool), I have to say he has been by far the best defender on the field on all 4 occasions. When he was at Chelsea I thought he would make a great DM (still do) but I have to applaud him for his work in defence.

    Not as poor as that last OT game though.

    It was a very much a JM game. Very functional, no real flair and a routine win. I would say another point would be sufficient unless we lose three matches and the Chavs win their last by significant margins.
