please log in to view this image Bournemouth v Leeds Utd Sunday 30th April@14:00 | Vitality Stadium A trip to the seaside, over a Bank holiday weekend in what is likely to determine Leeds future - what could go wrong? Almost 33 years to the day since Leeds infamous trip to Bournemouth where promotion was gained, the natives got a beating (both on and off the pitch), and the town was pillaged, the Cherries have a chance for revenge. Under the leadership of Gary O'Neil, Bournemouth have managed to navigate their way, seven points clear of the drop zone. A win on Sunday, would surely guarantee them safety, but condemn Leeds to life back to the Championship. Max Wober is ruled out for the trip to Bournemouth. The 25yo has a tight hamstring and according to the 'PremierLeagueInjuries' site is set for a spell on the sidelines. Luis Sinisterra who went off injured half way through the opening half of the Leicester City game, faces a late fitness test on his ankle, but has only a 25% chance of playing. Wilfred Gnonto will hopefully get recalled in his absence. Stuart Dallas and Tyler Adams remain long term absentees. The hosts will be without Marcus Tavernier (thigh), Junior Stanislas (muscular), Ryan Fredericks (calf) and Hamed Traore ankle). Jack Stephens returns to the defence having missed the Saints game (unable to face parent club).
Those where the days my friend Remember coming out of the gelderd in a semi-europhic trance .... marvelous, bring back proper terracing with that built in sway .... imagine VAR in those days
Wonder will this be like Cellinos season when all the Italians mysteriously got injured before last game wasn't it
Crikey it's come to something when we are considering b'mouth away as a tough fixture and a must win game (again).... still perhaps those venturing to the sarf coast will have a happy journey home with the win required and if not don't be tempted to 'stay' behind for a few scoops and partying
It is a tough fixture though as are all the rest, but I think we can get something out of the Bournemouth, West Ham and Spurs games because realistically I can't see us getting anything from the city and newcastle games. But you never know.
Injuries and results have shifted the betting slighty. We were 6/4 favs but now 17/10 Cherries were 13/8 now into 31/20 Still think we should be about 3/1 but the bookies know best
Where's your sense of adventure ,nil desperandum, when the chips are down the tough get going, think its a winner this one come on lads
