As long as we finish 2nd, I for one will be hoping they make it despite everything that has been said this season by them.
Controversial I know, but I see no reason to change from the fact I have always wanted to see them do well and it will be great for South Coast football to have 4 teams in the Championship, and hopefully out of that 4 atleast 1 contender for honours at the end of next season.

I'm sure there'll be people who say that they only want Huddersfield to make it after a great season for them, but the playoffs are the playoffs.

    Thoughts?

I would have gone for Bournemouth, because I don't lump them all in with the WUMS we used to get on Saints site. They have done so well to get promoted and end up in play-off spot. However, Huddersfield have been so good it would be a travesty if they didn't go up, just as it would be for Southampton if we fail to get auto.

the thing is, if Bournemouth go up, they will go straight back down, maybe with record low points

Wasn't everyone expecting them to struggle this year though?

Even so, I think the opportunity, and possibly the only opportunity, to have all 4 teams in the same division for one season is too much to resist

Would like Bournmouth to come up with us really - be a right south coast raid on the Champ.

But agree with Fran, The Udders have been good and could sustain a better campaign in Champ - fans are good too!

Really hope they don't go up. They'd just get on our nerves for another season and I bet they'd beat us in one of the games.

I love Bournemouth to come up, but at the same time I'd have to feel for Huddersfield if they do indeed only finish 3rd.

Tough to choose between them, but I guess my soft spot for Bournemouth decides it. But yes, one would expect them to go straight back down. Without money behind you, it's very hard to achieve back-to-back promotions and then not fall straight back again.

Just hope Peterborough don't make it through the play-offs. Darren Ferguson has done what many people thought impossible and become a bigger whinger than his old man.

Saw Alec on Sky after the Gunners shot his team down today and he was almost polite. Wonders!!

Cherries might just find Terriers deflated enough to be able to beat them but can't see them making it through the play-offs.
