But the fact that we all know is that it isn't an opportunity to put young drivers in the car - it's an excuse for teams to test various new parts out on their cars. Marussia and Williams' cars aren't even going to be driven by quote unquote "young" drivers - pretty sure both of their test drivers are the wrong side of 25 if not even 30, to say nothing of Mclaren. Meanwhile, the issue with it being held at the end of the season is the rather large workload it places on his own staff - which he has even admitted was his reasoning behind choosing to go to Silverstone instead!
