P16 OOT Up at Central Car Auctions in Easterhoose It was on an old splodger of a Frelander Diesel in which I had no interest but the plate was with the car which is quite unusual as it's worth a few quid and I thought it would be a cracker for someone with a Burger Van or some fat bastard..... Let the bidding commence.........
I've sat behing loads of cars with private reg plates on them and very rarely can I figure out what it is their trying to spell out....waste of money in my opinion
DId you see the Sunday Mail or some other Sunday paper had a bit about Kyle Lafferty, and they actually showed a picture of his "exclusive" personal number LA04TEE . Talk about stting the poor **** up. Responsible journalism ? His car's bound to get tanned after that
True story.... An MGF passed me on Duke St. a few weeks ago and the Reg number was SH53 EDU Remember thinking to myself.... "How very appropriate" But you're right, some of the plates make no sense at all. I once owned 8RFC about 15 years ago. When I was selling it I had this mad Blackburn Rovers fan telling me it was the best plate ever for a Blackburn fan as the 8 could be a "B" and Jack Walker who was their chairman back then would pay fortunes for it. He never, ended up selling it to a local Bluenose along with J1RFC to his wife Josie. I had J1CFC at the same time but couldny gie the ****in thing away, Celtic were ****e at the time. I placed an Ad in the times and only got one call for it...... Caller...."Aye Hullo, is yer plate stull fur sale?" Me....."Yes, it's still available" Caller...... " YA FENIAN BASTARD!" and hung up. Ended up selling it to a Chelsea fan. I like this one too.... please log in to view this image
