Bougherra has turned down a 2 year extension to his contract and is hopeful someone will come in for him in the summer.

    Bougherra offski?

He still has a year left to run on his contract and says it's not a problem if he has to stay another year, but it's clear he wants to move on.

Looks like the old lost in translation will apply here regarding Bougherras comments.

If he goes, then he'll leave with everyones best wishes.

With Weir likely to retire in the summer, it looks like we're going to have a brand new and/or inexperienced central defensive partnership next season.

And makes Walters decison to ditch Andy Webster even more bizarre.

If we don't get taken over, I could see a CB pairing of Whittaker and McCulloch next season <yikes>

He'll be denying it by the end of the day but it's pretty obvious he's been wanting a move to the EPL for some time now. With his form of late I can't see him going to a top half team.

He should have went last summer after the WC. Rangers would probably have got twice as much for him as they will in the summer.

He talks about wanting a new challenge after playing in the Champions League, Europa League and WC during his time with Rangers. But then it mentions possibly moving to Qatar. Surely this is a case of chasing the money.

I honestly think he's been a liability this season. He has started to believe his own hype and leaves us exposed at the back.
