Next run will be at Sandown in a hurdle on Feb 2nd followed by a run at Haydock in a Pertemps qualifier.
He will then be aimed at the Pertemps Final at the Festival. Have had him added to the betting with Bet365 at a price of 25-1.
Personally I think thats a bit skinny but I have had a dabble. He may have eased a few pounds come March lol

The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of BOUGGLER, ridden by Dougie Costello and trained by Emma Lavelle, which finished third beaten 5½ lengths having been settled in the rear in the early stages and stayed on latterly. They interviewed the rider and the trainer. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer and observations from the Handicapper. The rider stated that his instructions were to drop the gelding in in the early stages in an attempt to get him to finish his race as in his previous two races he has not been getting home. The trainer confirmed the instructions and added that BOUGGLER had been running too keenly. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards noted their explanations.

I was going absolutely mad because I think if ridden properly Bougglet would have won that yesterday.

Definitely interested to see if he gets dropped a couple of pounds.

Handicaps really are the biggest opening for cheating in this sport. Be interesting to see what mark SON OF FLICKA ends up with at the festival too given that he has bee awful again all season.

No way will he be dropped for that run TC but I think its fair to say he will get a much more vigorous ride at Cheltenham. The course there will suit him much better too and he goes there with a massive chance in my opinion.
