We are still 11 points clear of 17th Placed blackburn. They would need to win half of the remaining games just to catch up to where we are now.
It is quite alarming to see how these teams just seem to start hammering the opposition after **** for most of the season !! Aston Villa now look to be in a bit of trouble but im glad we are still 10th, we need to take a couple more points to be safe for sure buti can actually see it being a very tight finish t this prem league !
I was thinking our 4 games in a row against the bottom teams was a blessing , on a bit of a rethink suddenly . Not really worried but holy molly , there coming hard !
I was about to post something similar. While I am not worried, yet, the teams below us have started to pick up points against teams that should be shoving them through the trap door. QPR have beaten Liverpool and Arsenal recently, and we have them to play yet. Realistically, I can't see us struggling, but it's going to be a close one.
But you have to question wheather our players will fancy a battle against these relegation threatened teams, we have shy'd away from hard work lately and that is what we will need to get anything from those games. We are thankfully in a good position so that should give us enough of a platform to stay here
This is true Norway. They will be battling for their PL status, so were going to have to be battle hardened. I'm sure they'll step it up and show them who's boss.
Wolves are gone in my eyes and the 2 away games they have to attack us we can use that to.our advantage simples
While I understand whats going on, were not going to get dragged into this. Wolves are poor and going down, Wigan yes picking up points but can't see them surviving, QPR's run-in is very hard. Can see Blackburn staying up, Bolton starting to play. The one team I feel has to worry and could get sucked into a relegation scrap and that's Villa.
Agree Beppe, Wolves are down IMO and they will need to gamble in all their games, the others though are right in the mix and will treat our game as a must win so they will run and fight for 90mins and treat it like a cup final, hopefully our boys will be up for it as well.
I dont think fun is the right word Ash.. We play all the relegation candidates in consecitive weeks which will be a real test for our boys, its going to be intresting to say the least !! but 3pts tomorrow will calm the nerves i guess
No point in watcing if you can't have fun boys. Should we lose a few of those game, I admit, it won't be fun lol.
Speaking of bottom sides starting to pick up a bit ( trying to stay on topic ) but Canada has a game against Mexico in a few hours & the winner makes the Olympics . I'm pretty hopeful because hope is all we generally got as a basic rule .
