These stats somewhat undermined by Yellow & Green Flying Vermin's average 101% attendance. Unless they have been breaking health and safety rules, in which case they should be relegated to the East Anglian Farmers insurance League.
It's obvious they just 'made up' the capacity numbers. If they didn't, I assume Norwich will receive a heavy fine from the authorities for over-capacity?
But they use 19148. Averager attendance 17295/Capacity 19148*100 = Percent of stadium filled = 90,3% and 12th place. Its in their table!
90% is pretty good since thre were seats covered in lower school end for chunks of season and also the away end had some empty parts for large parts of the season . I reckon home seats were 95% full for the season and only really poor seats that were not sold. Decent ground and decent facilities with proper views and our attendances would go up.
I think the capacity figure is out of date, didn't a load of seats get eaten up when Flavio upped the number of corporate boxes etc? The figure quoted in the stats dates back at least ten years as we had just over 19,000 for a game against Man City when Keegan was their boss. 18,100 is the limit now...

No and then compare home gates v away attend and i bet we would be up there. Take Fulham 25K at home 200 away?
Even though we are bottom of the table I think this is a very positive report. Over 90% capacity attendance over a season shows that there is potential to fill a bigger ground if we move. When you consider how poorly supported some of the visiting teams have been, even in the Premier league, our average is still pretty decent. I thought our capacity was under 18,000 now that we have had to make room for the Sky box and camera stands. Over 19,000 seems to be a mistake.
www.footballgroundguide.com has our capacity at 18,360, which would put us at 94.2% Maybe we can get Cerny to do an accurate count?
I did read somewhere that our average away support is 2000. Better than most in the Prem. U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!! ps. Come on Brian Munich!
