Was reading this morning down here in Engerland that QPR have been put off signing him as he has asked for £65k a week!

Guess thats why the talk we were speaking to him has all gone quiet!

I know he's available on a free - but £65k a week for someone who has failed to shine outwith 1 half decent season in the championship with Cardiff and 1 call up for Engerland

shame in a way because whilst i dont think he's top class he'd do alright in the SPL and would compliment Hooper IMO

Looks like Bellamy wants too much too unless we can agree to pay him a percentage of his wages and City pay up the balance? Not too sure i'd want Bellamy though to be honest - not for mega bucks thats for sure

so who will we go for? As a striker surely is priority? Could do with John Park uncovering a centre forward Kayal!

I'd be happy to for us to play a waiting game for a forward, I'd be happy to stick with Hooper Stokes and Sammy at the start of the season and hopefully get a striker later when wage demands become more realistic. I think getting a keeper in is more important.

If you are over 15yrs old then I should have no need to tell you. Believe what you read in the papers in the same way as you would believe what a Rangers bigot like
Pedro Mendes. Journalists will print any figure they feel like, doesn't bare any necessary relationship to the truth. Bothroyd is obviously holding out for what he feels is the best deal for him.
Celtic may or may not be able to be that club. Time is on Bothroyd 's side at the moment.
