Have everybody forget him? I know he hasn't set the PL on fire ,but who has? Iceman and thats it everybody else has been really disapointment to us. Maybe he would be better with our new players.....?

Potential. But we don't have time for potential. At least not right now

Should have gone in as a sub saturday. He came in spurs match and was very good. Maybe his best match for us.

Yeah. Give him a chance. But I'd love to see us go to a 4-3-3 with him on the right.

Fair play Yappy....you just made me spit my coffee all over the keyboard!! Your never-ending twaddle is hilarious at times.

Bothroyd's opportunity with the club disappeared with the arrival of Zamora. While there doesn't seem to be much betweem them there is nothing to be gained from chopping and changing them around. Fulham did a number on Zamora as we may have exopected but the tactics (sic) left him totally isolated anyway. We just need to find a system that allows a hold up man to work effectively. I am still hopeful that Zamora and Cisse or perhaps even Zamora and Helguson might come good for us. Certainly Zamora or Bothroyd plus nobody else does NOT work.

    My team for Everton

    Hulse
    Mackie Smith Hulse Taarabt
    DJ Macheda HH
    Bothroyd Zamora Balanta

..swapping Cisse for Smith when he returns.

    It might just work!

For the short time Zamora and Cisse were on the pitch together against Wolves I thought they, and we as a team, looked good. Gave Adel the space in front of the defence and alternatives other than shooting from distance.

No problem having Bothroyd as understudy for Zamora, injuries and suspensions happen. Just wish he had a bit more killer instinct and a lot less teddy bear.
