Would we have signed either if Fernandes was in place at the time? With our greater clout in the transfer market, would we have had more ambitious targets?
We have to be realistic - at best we are going to be in the bottom half so the better prospect might have fancied something more exciting than that.....I think JB will develop really well especially with the increased quality of service from people like Joey B and SWP??.....DJ scored 13 goals for a team that was relegated.....as I've said on other posts, that is the sort of return Crouch can only dream about when you consider the goals to chances ratio DJ must have
Interesting point. I think there is still room for one more quality centre forward with either one of Boothroyd or Campbell making a great sub. Then we can hopefully unload some other unnecessary baggage that we have.
Don't know, but I still think they're good signings, and I think Bothroyd can have a big season. And Dudley is deadly!
